Location - Manchester

Salary - £80,000 to £100,000 depending on experience

Benefits dependant on the individual but will include:

Car / Car allowance

Up Front Recruitment are looking for a Head of Civils for a large civil engineering company based in Manchester. A large part of their work is in Highways working with local authorities and employ over 100 people. They are looking to expand and require someone commercially and operationally aware. Their projects range from £20,000 to £3M.

Your role as Head of Civil's for the company would be to run the operational side and using your commercial knowledge to make sure the company is running a profit on each project. You will have Quantity Surveyors and Contracts Managers by your side and report to the Managing Director. You will be able to price work alongside running the Civils side of the company.

The ideal candidate will come from QS / Estimating background and have full knowledge commercially and operationally.
