Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants or Cover Supervisors to join a thriving secondary school in Kingsbury Manor, London. The successful candidate will work with children aged 13-18 some who have mild to moderate special needs, providing classroom support under the guidance of teachers.

Essential Requirements:

* Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor in the UK.

* Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service.

* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students.

* Knowledge of classroom management techniques and a passion for supporting student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons.

* Assist children aged 13-18 with their educational and social development.

* Manage the classroom during the teacher’s absence, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.

* Work closely with students who have mild special needs, supporting their engagement and progress.

* Provide 1:1 or small group interventions when required.

* Assist in maintaining discipline and ensuring student welfare.

Desirable:

* Knowledge of the UK secondary school curriculum.

* A flexible and proactive approach to work.
