Health and Safety Advisor

West Midlands Office / National Travel / WFH

Up to £55,000 + Car Allowance and Fuel Card

TSR are working with a leading Energy Business who are now recruiting a National H&S Advisor. You will come from a Construction / Property Services background and will have CDM knowledge and experience.

Regional Offices across the UK, this role will be ultimately based from home with National travel.

You the successful H&S/CDM Advisor will work in collaboration with other departments, you will liaise with important stakeholders and act as a lead consultant on several multi-million pound schemes across the UK. This opportunity is ideal for someone coming from a consultancy or contractor background.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a variety of H&S services to ensure compliance on all projects.
- Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.
- Preparation of health and safety files where required.
- Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement) are in place.
- Carry out risk assessments and site inspections including audits.
- Spot new business opportunities through existing and new clients.

H&S/CDM Advisor
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body (desirable).
- Good understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.
- Strong technical construction knowledge
- Client facing experience
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Full UK driver's licence
