The Role
We are currently seeking to recruit a Trainee Finance & Administration Assistant to join us in our Central London office. This is a full time FTC contract with prospect of becoming permanent.
This offers a foundation in financial and administrative practices; the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the debt management and administration activities of our business.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assist in preparing, issuing, and tracking customer invoices. Ensure timely followup on outstanding payments
* Assist in recording and categorizing business expenses, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
* Help monitor and manage office supplies inventory, placing orders when necessary and ensuring proper distribution
* Help update and maintain financial spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency for reporting purposes
* Assist in tracking client payments, follow up on overdue invoices, and ensure proper documentation of incoming payments
* Support the finance team in chasing outstanding debts and maintaining accurate records of communications with clients
* Provide general assistance to the finance and administration team, taking on tasks as needed to support team goals
* Gain handson experience with accounting software and financial management tools to develop technical proficiency
