Facilities Assistant - Croydon - £38,000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Assistant to join a reputable Facilities Management company at a unique site in Croydon. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Facilities Management and be ready to start immediately. You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operations of the building to ensure it meets company standards.

Hours/Details:

Monday to Friday

08:00 AM to 05:00 PM

Permanent position

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the client mailroom and accept incoming deliveries

Assist with on-site tasks and general office support

Report building defects to the client

Set up meeting rooms

Order and maintain stationery supplies

Distribute post around the building

Handle photocopying, filing, and mailing tasks

Assist with office relocations and furniture moves

Carry out minor repairs around the building

Install safety equipment and carry out repairs, fixtures, and fittings

Oversee building maintenance and cleanliness

Ensure the building environment remains clean, sanitised, and compliant with safety standards

Ensure emergency procedures are in place and functioning correctly

Perform basic administrative duties as needed

Requirements:

Proactive, intuitive, and punctual

Experience in a facilities environment

Basic handyman skills

IT proficient

Experience with administrative tasks

Post Room experience required
