Job Opportunity: HR Business Partner (Local Authority)

Location: SE6 4RU, Hybrid (2 days per week office-based)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6 months
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (35 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £29.66 per hour (PAYE)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our clients team within a Local Authority setting. This role will support key HR functions with a focus on Employee Relations and Business Partnering to deliver effective HR solutions and guidance. The HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving performance, providing strategic HR support, and contributing to initiatives that impact the community positively.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align HR strategy with departmental goals.
Oversee Employee Relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and best practices.
Support HR team members by setting performance goals and providing guidance.
Implement HR initiatives within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.Essential Criteria

Proven experience as a senior HR professional, ideally within a Local Authority or complex organisation.
Strong track record in Business Partnering, with a hands-on approach to Employee Relations.
