Corporate Tax Senior - CTA Qualified - Leatherhead, Surrey - Competitive Salary + Benefits

We're looking for a Qualified Tax Senior, either recently qualified or an established Tax Senior, to join a well established organisation in their Leatherhead office.

Joining the Business and Corporate Tax team, the Tax Senior will have initial responsibility for overseeing a portfolio of business tax related compliance functions, which includes a diverse mix of owner managed companies as well as large and international groups operating across a variety of industries.

Key responsibilities as the Corporate Tax Senior will include:

* Preparing and reviewing UK corporate tax computations

* Monitoring reporting and payment deadlines

* Working closely with audit and accounts team to advise on tax accounting entries and disclosures

* Providing corporation tax compliance proposals and quotes

* Monitoring and managing financial performance

* Managing client and HMRC correspondence

* Training and mentoring colleagues as needed

What we’re looking for:

* CTA qualification or equivalent

* Corporate tax technical and practical knowledge

* Demonstrable experience working in a Tax Accountant / Tax Manager or Tax Senior role

* Good knowledge of tax issues affecting OMB’s and their shareholders

* Knowledge of UK accounting standards

* Competency in interpreting accounts and other financial information

* Knowledge of other business taxes and tax reporting processes is advantageous

* Excellent communication skills at all levels

* Ability to liaise confidently with clients

* IT literate with strong MS Office and database skills

* Alphatax is desirable

* Strong desire to provide a high level of service to clients
