Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer for a temporary position at a key site in Eye, Suffolk. This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring smooth operations during the assignment period.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, ensuring minimal downtime.

* Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems, pumps, and pipework.

* Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to maintain system efficiency.

* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.

* Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks effectively.

* Maintain detailed records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in mechanical engineering or maintenance.

* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent).

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Familiarity with health and safety standards, including risk assessments and safe work practices.
