SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller for a logistics business based in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that is in a turnaround phase.
My client is looking for an experienced Financial Controller who is hands on in their approach and experienced enough to work off their own initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to add value and make a real long term difference to the business.
Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and business plans.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and policies to mitigate risk.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to drive operational efficiency.
- Business partner with the Senior Management Team in order to set up key metrics.
