Job Title: Civil Engineer - Bridge Design

Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 per annum

A leading civil engineering firm with a strong portfolio of projects, including the Stranraer Marina Expansion Project, the Dumbarton Flood Prevention Scheme, and various bridge assessments and designs.

Role Overview:
They are seeking a talented Civil Engineer with a strong background in bridge design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LUSAS or similar engineering software, and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions. You will play a key role in our ongoing projects, contributing to the design, assessment, and optimisation of bridge structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Design bridge structures for various projects, including wind farms and the A9 Dualling project.
Conduct assessments of existing bridge structures and contribute to historical railway estates framework projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
Utilise LUSAS or similar FEA software for structural analysis and design calculations.
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Relevant experience in bridge design and engineering.
Proficiency in LUSAS or similar FEA software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to health and safety standards.
