Technical Sales Representative

Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our well-established client.
In this role, you will be responsible for Product Sales and Business Development within a specified territory.
Key Responsibilities for Technical Sales Representative:
* Proactive management of territory including prospecting and opportunity creation.
* Manage incoming leads for the territory and develop them to completed sale.
* Perform effective product demonstration on site (following training period).
* Work with colleagues to perform effective product presentation to groups of people.
* Attend trade shows and exhibitions in any location across the UK.
* Achieve sales of sufficient quantity and turnover to meet targets.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
* Previous sales and territory management experience is essential.
* Previous experience in capital equipment sales is desirable, but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills (face to face, telephone, written and other methods) Good written word skills, with the ability to construct engaging sales proposals and quotations.
* A track record of using prospecting skills, including telephone and face to face introduction.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel for work.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
* Valid driver's license (maximum 3 penalty points).
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience (£25k to £35k per annum) + commission
