About the Role:
As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a range of needs, including Autism.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed to ensure all students are making progress towards their goals.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience working with students with SEN preferred.
Knowledge of a range of Special Educational Needs like Autism, and experience implementing strategies to support these needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude towards working with students with diverse needs.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and grow as an educator.
