About the Role: AK Teaching have been asked to support a group of partnership schools with their recruitment. They are looking for 8 dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their team in Newcastle (Walker area). Successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher as well as building relationships with pupils on a 1-1 basis as well as full class support.

The school offers on site parking as well as regular training and CPD.

The roles will be split across 3 different schools with a mix of roles, full time and part time roles available.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the teacher in the delivery of educational programs
Provide support and encouragement to students to help them achieve their learning goals and thrive in the classroom.

Adapt learning materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
Requirements:

An enhanced DBS on the update service is required, or applicants must be willing to apply and pay for one through AK Teaching.
Willingness to work with a wide range of ages, as and when required.
Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare are encouraged but not essential.
Relevant experience in a similar setting is highly desirable.
