Overview:
A global brand-building agency specialising in luxury fashion, jewellery, beauty, and lifestyle sectors is seeking a Senior Vice President for Talent Management & Strategy. This pivotal role will compliment the existing VIP Relations and Influencer Division, focusing on talent support, booking, casting for brand campaigns, and strategic partnerships.
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives in talent management and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with global client branding and campaign objectives, with a particular emphasis on the US/UK market. The role also involves close collaboration with Talent & VIP Services, to create a cohesive strategy for global teams, including mentoring and motivating team members to encourage a culture of innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that supports global clientele, aligning with brand and campaign objectives.
Lead talent booking and casting for high-profile brand campaigns, ensuring the perfect alignment between talent and client brand values.
Negotiate and finalise contracts with talent, securing terms that align with client objectives and budget considerations.
Collaborate with the SVP, Talent & VIP Services, to implement a unified strategy for talent and influencer engagement across global markets.
Provide strategic guidance to both talent and internal teams, exploring new opportunities for collaboration to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with talent agencies, management firms, and individual talent, particularly in the US/UK market, ensuring access to top-tier talent.
Offer insights and support during campaign planning phases, contributing to creative direction with a focus on talent integration.
Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated team focused on talent acquisition and management, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
Support new business development by showcasing talent acquisition capabilities and strategic insights during client meetings and pitches.
Represent the agency at industry events, networking with talent and executives to build relationships and promote services.
Qualifications:
At least 10 years of experience in talent management, casting, or a related field within the fashion, entertainment, or luxury brand sectors.
Proven expertise in negotiating contracts and managing relationships with talent, agents, and industry executives.
Strong understanding of the global fashion and luxury industry landscape, particularly the US market.
Exceptional networking skills and a well-established network of contacts in the entertainment and fashion industries.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, with a successful track record of integrating talent into brand campaigns.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and developing talent within an organization.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, talent, and internal teams.
