My client is seeking an experienced Trade Counter Assistant to help in the day-to-day operations of a busy Trade Counter.
Candidates should have a strong knowledge of building materials and / or Electrcial products.
Job Specification:
* Serving customers and dealing with any queries.
* Taking telephone orders and making calls to clients.
* Assisting in stock replenishment on the shop floor.
* Assisting with deliveries in and out of the store.
* Dealing with any telephone queries effectively and communicating with customers and colleagues.
* Other sales related duties
* Ordering goods
Person Specification:
* Excellent customer service.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
* Able to work on own initiative.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
* Excellent telephone manner.
Previous experience in a similar industry/sector is desirable
