Are you an Automotive Project Engineer with experience in Body Electronics seeking a new opportunity to grow your career? ASL Technical are working with a leading automotive manufacturer based in Bedfordshire as they grow their Engineering Department.
Main Purpose of Body Electronics Project Engineer
To be responsible for application and integration of electrical and electronic components and systems to European vehicles.
Release and maintenance of the vehicle BOM
Capturing customer requirements and creation of high level specs
Close coordination and cooperation with global Alliance R&D centres
Management of tier 1 suppliers to achieve Q, C, T targets
Management of supplier and in-house validation to business standards
Creation and maintenance of end-of-line configuration data
Have ‘Frontline’ responsibility for Plant and Market support
Experience / Knowledge for the Body Electronics Project Engineer
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electronic or electrical engineering
Three years minimum automotive industry work experience with a bias in relevant field
Knowledge of CAN, CAN tools and vehicle diagnostics
Competent working knowledge of electrical theory and electronic devices
Knowledge of hardware and software development processes
Proven Project and supplier management experience
Ability to work cross-functionally with excellent communication and project management skills.
A Valid driving license is essential
Successful candidates will be working on a PAYE contract basis and can expect to receive the following in addition to the advertised rate:
Readily available overtime at 1.5
