About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to lead on service charge financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This pivotal role will ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and full cost recovery, supporting operational teams in delivering value-for-money services to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service Charge Management – Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations, ensuring service charges are accurate, compliant, and transparent.
* Financial Strategy & Optimisation – Identify opportunities to optimise income and improve cost efficiencies across service charge portfolios.
* Stakeholder Engagement – Act as a trusted advisor to operational teams, providing financial insight and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Compliance & Reporting – Ensure adherence to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and service charge regulations.
* Financial Modelling & Analysis – Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and enhance financial sustainability.
* System & Process Improvement – Drive efficiency in financial systems, ensuring best practices in service charge accounting.
About You:
* Qualified or part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in service charge finance within housing.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
* Expert knowledge of service charge regulations, income recovery, and cost management.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
* Experience with housing management and finance systems.
