We are assisting a highly rated, family run supply and fit business in their search for a Stock and Customer Services Co-ordinator.

Based on the outskirts of Bromley (towards Croydon), this exciting opportunity is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday availability would be of benefit too.

As this well-established company continues to grow, you will be working in an environment where the priorities frequently change. This exciting opportunity needs a clear thinking person with amazing organisational and prioritisation skills. Does this sound like you?

Main duties and responsibilities

* Assisting with taking in deliveries (some heavy lifting involved)

* Quality / quantity checking materials against delivery notes

* Undertake regular stocktakes to ensure correct materials are in stock

* Liaising with suppliers regarding material prices and lead times

* Taking incoming customer queries and following up with prospective customers regarding quotes

* Meeting and greeting showroom visitors

* Updating computerised records

What’s required?

* IT literacy with systems and Microsoft products

* Experience gained from a stock control environment

* Excellent customer service and people facing skills

* Amazing telephone skills

* An impeccable eye for detail

* A proven ability to multi-task – it’s a small team environment, meaning that if you have a ‘that’s not in my job description’ attitude, you might want to apply for something else

* Experience gained from a retail trade supplier environment (preferably flooring)

* Experience of managing your own workload

What’s desirable?

* A knowledge of flooring products (training will be given)

* Experience of qualifying potential sales leads

* The availability to work the occasional Saturday
