TML Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with one of our longest standing clients, a UK wide, multi-disciplinary property practice with over £20M in turnover with 10+ offices. We are assisting them in their search for a Associate Partner/Director Valuer (or very strong Senior Surveyor ready for promotion) to aid the growth of their West Midlands valuation department. This business, a leader in many surveying disciplines is widely known for their ‘staff first’ mentality, are award winning and offer the perfect environment for surveyors looking to climb a ladder and take that next step to Partnership/Director. Whilst the office is open to everyone 5 days a week to attend this role will really suit someone who enjoys flexibility and managing their own schedule!

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for a variety of Residential and Commercial valuations across the Midlands with a large focus in the East Midlands/Derby area but working across Birmingham when needed. You will cover a variety of asset classes, but typically residential, developments, offices, retail and industrial buildings/units. Clients you will be working with include banks, private and corporate clients, and professional contacts. Your main mandate will be to aid the growth of the business unit which has 3 valuers in it.
The business is incredibly busy with a pipeline of clients and work so no active requirement for business development however ideally someone will want to help in the growth of business. Reporting into the regional director there will be opportunities to take on team leading responsibilities should this be of interest.
What do you need to be successful?
* MRICS / FRICS qualified
* RICS Registered Valuer (Desirable)
* Ability and desire to manage, develop and motivate team members.
* A keen interest to build a business unit, having ideas to help develop the unit.
* Full driving licence.
* Exception levels of customer/client care.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
