Shifts: 4 on/4 off 12-hour night shifts (7.00pm-7.00am)

Salary: £28,000 Per Annum

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Customs Clerk to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Customs Clerk and a strong understanding of customs clearance procedures.

Responsibilities:

Oversee import/export customs documentation, including declarations, clearances, and entry checks.
Address and resolve enquiries on customs procedures, classifications, duty rates, and documentation.
Interact professionally with clients to collect necessary customs information and offer support.
Respond to customs queries on active declarations and ensure accurate data across systems.
Maintain compliance with HMRC and regulatory standards, advising clients as needed.Requirements:

Previous experience as a customs clerk is essential
Proficiency in using customs software is essential
Strong understanding of customs clearance requirements and regulations
Experience in road transport, logistics, or haulage is desirable
Must be able to work 4-on/4-off 12-hour night shifts (7.00pm-7.00am)
