Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team within schools in London. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. This role requires effective communication skills in English and the ability to follow care plans meticulously, contributing to the overall well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities
* Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
* Support clients in meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
* Monitor and record patient health information and report any changes to the healthcare team.
* Help implement care plans under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members to ensure continuity of care.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
Experience
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining patient records is advantageous.
* A strong drive to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
