Domus are on the lookout for a highly experienced Health and Social Care professional to join a highly reputable provider of care for adults with Learning Disabilities & Mental Health needs as a Registered Manager in Mitcham, Surrey.
You will be responsible for the management of a small residential service that supports adults with Learning Disabilities, ensuring person-centered care is delivered.
We’re keen to speak with current Registered Manager’s or highly experienced Deputies!
Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:
Enable the people supported to lead a fulfilling life and to maximise their independence to enable them to achieve their full potential.
Ensure the wellbeing of the team is prioritised, and that they are given the appropriate tools and opportunities to excel in their current role and future career.
Ensure the service is run in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing the achievement of budget with the ethos of excellent quality.
Effectively manage financial performance, with financial resources appropriately managed & controlled.
Promote quality assurance, working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organisational obligations, to develop effective work strategies and processes, ensuring that the business is run in an efficient and responsible manner.
Ensure full and accurate reporting of management information, maximising quality and compliance.
Key requirements a Registered Manager must have:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards), or equivalent as required for registration.
Substantial experience in managing care teams / supervisory or management experience in a care environment.
Strong people and communication skills with excellent customer service.
Thorough understanding of financial data and ability to manage budgets.
