In this role as Legal Counsel your legal expertise will shape the future of the organisation. As a Legal Counsel you'll play a critical role supporting leadership and members of the senior team across complex landscapes. You'll offer specialist advice, draft essential legal resources, review and amend contracts and documents on multi-million pound tenders and sales opportunities, and manage and support managers and directors as needed. You will represent the organisation on industry panels and working groups, sharing valuable insights and ensuring effective communication across various forums. A large part of this role will be spent reviewing long and complex contracts on a detailed line-by-line basis. Boring for most, but a great role for the person that enjoys that type of detailed analysis from a position of risk awareness!
Location: Easy & suitable commutes from anywhere in Yorkshire with easy access to the M62

In-house Legal Counsel - Skills and Abilities - Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction, Law
* Qualified solicitor in England and Wales
* A strong academic record (including at least 3 A Levels and a degree at 2:1 or above)
* At least three years' post qualification experience
* Fantastic attention to detail for long and complex contracts covering large tenders and framework sale agreements
* Any experience of manufacturing, engineering or construction beneficial
