A client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting a Credit Controller to join their team. This is a part-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.30am - 2.30pm and paying up to £19,500 per annum (£27,000 FTE) depending on experience.

Reporting to the Finance Director, key duties include but are not limited to:

Debt collection via phone, email and letter.
Responsibility of new account opening procedure.
Completing relevant journals in ERP system.
Create and distribute regular Aged Debt Reports.
Complete monthly statements for all customers.
Conducting regular credit checks on all customers.
Resolving problems in relation to invoicing and payments.
Reconciling month-end accounts ensuring all cash receipts are allocated correctly and timely.
Report to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems.
Daily banking including taking credit card payments.
Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting to Management.
Any other duties as required.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Credit Controller position:

Previous credit control or accountancy experience
Experience in chasing/managing outstanding commercial payments
Excellent communication skills
Proficient within the Microsoft packages, specifically Excel.
Highly organised.
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
