Our client, a leading main contractor in the construction industry, is on the lookout for a Junior Construction Project Manager with a strong carpentry background. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on professional ready to transition into project management within the commercial, education and health sectors.

Assist in the planning and execution of commercial fit-out and extension projects
Work alongside site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
Interpret and work with construction drawings and specifications
Conduct site inspections, ensuring quality control and project compliance
Ensure all health & safety regulations are met
Manage materials, workforce scheduling, and project timelines
Use your carpentry expertise to provide technical guidance and problem-solving on-site What We’re Looking For:

A strong background in carpentry (trade qualification preferred)
Exposure to or experience in project management within construction
Experience in commercial fit-outs and extensions
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Computer literacy is a must
