Pay: £33,075 – £45,037 (dependent on experience)

Supply Desk are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art and Design teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Chinnor, starting in September 2024.  This secondary school is known for their strong academic tradition, innovative teaching methods, and commitment to student well-being. The role will require the following responsibilities:

Planning and delivering a diverse curriculum that stimulates creativity and critical thinking.
Supporting students in developing their artistic skills and helping them create portfolios for GCSEs.
Providing individualized feedback and support to ensure all students reach their full potential.
Collaborating with colleagues in the Art department to enhance the overall learning experience.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognized teaching qualification with a specialism in Art and Design.
Experience: Previous experience teaching Art and Design in a secondary school setting is desirable.
Passion for Art: A deep commitment to promoting the arts and encouraging student creativity.
Strong Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
