Job title: Facilities Electrician

Are you an experienced Facilities Electrician to support the Facilities Engineering team by carrying out electrical and facilities-related work, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of systems within a dynamic and varied environment.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance, testing and fault diagnosis, repair, and disassembly of a wide range of electrical plant and associated components.
Stay up to date and aware of revisions to relevant building and safety regulations.
Conduct in-service inspection & testing of electrical equipment (PAT) for appliances in line with compliance requirements.
Undertake breakdown maintenance where possible on facility functioning equipment.
Undertake building maintenance tasks and monitor and allocate BMR through Jira and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure all facilities equipment continues to run smoothly.

Requirements:

Experienced and qualified in commercial electrical installations
Level 3 City & Guilds (2391, 2394 & 2395)
AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2)
18thEdition Wiring Regulations
Experience of carrying out building maintenance repairs and working under own initiative
Good understanding of statutory and non-statutory documents
