Are you a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new role?

Looking for a challenging yet rewarding role in a heavily industrial manufacturing environment?  At our client's facility on the outskirts of Lancaster with easy access to the M6, we've got an exciting opening! You'll be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance, working in a small, close-knit team where teamwork and a proactive mindset are key.

This is an opportunity to work a fantastic work-life balance with a 2 days, 2 nights on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Plus, they have made a heavy investment in machinery on site meaning that you have the chance to work with the latest technology and machinery.

Duties of this Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role:

To provide an electrical engineering service to the production team and achieve minimum down time

Proactive response in carrying out preventative maintenance duties

Ensuring you are commercially aware of budget and there is the right amount of spares

Look at ways you can continuously improve efficiency and down time

To encourage, motivate and inspire apprentices and trainees

Maintaining a safe working environment and highlighting any safety concerns   

Qualifications and personality requirements of a Electrically Bias Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:

You must hold a recognised engineering apprentice (NVQ, BTEC or C&G)

Multi-skilled experience is desirable

70/30 electrical bias is preferred

Experience of Siemens S7 and ELAU controls is advantageous but not essential 

Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure  

Benefits of this Electrically Bias Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role:

A base salary of £47,653.13 per annum, plus the opportunity for paid overtime

A holiday allowance of 21 shifts, inclusive of bank holidays, with incremental increases linked to service length
