Semi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE

Location: Thorne, Doncaster

Monday to Friday 5.30am – 2:30pm or 2:30pm – 11:30pm.

Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Thorne, which is recruiting for a semi skilled Maintenance Engineer. The focus of this Semi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is to maintain plant and production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the repairing, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Perform basic mechanical, electrical, or fabrication tasks under supervision.
Follow safety procedures and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Support skilled engineers in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and other engineering equipment as required.Experience/Knowledge:

We’re looking for semi-skilled maintenance engineers with the below:

Previous experience in an engineering, mechanical, or technical role.
Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
