Our client is a freight forwarder based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. They are looking to recruit an experienced Ocean Freight Import/Export Operator to join their growing team.

The role will be dealing with Ocean Freight operations from start to finish including;

* Taking bookings via phone and email

* Liaising with clients

* Handling quotations and rates for new and exiting customers

* Completing all relevant documentation

* Dealing with any customer enquiries or complaints

* Liaising with overseas agents

* Invoicing and final delivery.

Whats required;

* Previous experience in Ocean freight is essential.

* Good customer service skills / experience with an excellent telephone manner

* Ability to work well within a team and on own initiative

Benefits

* Salary 35K - open for discussion depending on experience.

* Hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30 pm

* 1 hour for lunch.
