Are you an mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer with experience in FMCG or the food industry?  As part of the maintenance team, your day-to-day tasks will be attending breakdowns and undertaking PPM's on the plant machinery.  Using your engineering knowledge and expertise you will support production to minimise downtime.
   This established food manufacturers in Uttoxeter has seen a period of growth and investment with new lines being installed to facilitate the increasing demand for the products!  

The role as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

Day to Day maintenance of the production machinery.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
Provide maintenance support to production to ensure efficient performance of all equipment.
Ensure accurate and timely records are entered into the maintenance system relating to all work carried out, root causes and spare parts used.
Make food safety a priority while maintaining the machinery.
Continuous Improvement activities as directed. To be successful in this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer's role you will need:

An Engineering qualification, and a time served Apprenticeship with an mechanical bias.
Experience of working with manufacturing machinery
Background preferably in Food Manufacturing or FMCG.
Be able to work as part of a larger engineering team.
Have a collaborative approach.    The package on offer in this Maintenance Engineers role:

4 on 4 off days and nights pattern
7am – 7pm
Basic salary of £47,050 with over time available
