Metering Technician
  
Our well-known client based in Bedford/Flitwick are looking for a Metering Technician to join their growing team. As a Metering Technician, you will be managing your own workload to ensure a great service is provided, via obtaining meter readings and  providing excellent customer service.
  
Location: Bedford/Flitwick
Salary: £27,453 Per Annum
Hours: 37 hours a week; flexible hours between 6:30 – 20:00, including some hours on a Saturday when required to meet customer needs.
Basis: Temporary
  
Responsibilities as a Metering Technician:

Obtain accurate readings from water meters.
Carry out meter exchanges (full training will be provided).
Provide excellent customer service to customers.
Manage your own workload, ensuring deadlines and targets are met.   
Required skills of a Metering Technician:

Physically fit due to the demands of the role.
Customer focused.
Hold basic IT skills, as you will be using a handheld computer daily.
A professional image is very important - you will be provided with a uniform and van.
