We are excited to recruit a Senior Chef de Partie to join a vibrant kitchen team in the beautiful Cotswolds. This is an exciting opportunity to work with fresh, seasonal ingredients, sourced from our very own kitchen garden and local suppliers, in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment.
The Role:
As Senior Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of one of the four kitchen sections. You will lead by example, helping to train and mentor junior chefs and apprentices while ensuring your section operates efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage your section of the kitchen, ensuring it runs smoothly and meets all timeframes.
Support the preparation and cooking of meat, fish, vegetables, hot & cold starters, and main courses.
Assist with the pastry section as needed, providing flexibility across the kitchen.
Maintain a clean, organised workstation and ensure all health & safety protocols are followed.
Support the development of junior chefs and apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
Collaborate with the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef to ensure consistency and quality across all sections.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie, or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen.
Passion for high-quality, seasonal ingredients and a creative approach to menu planning.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to support and inspire junior team members.
A solid understanding of kitchen health & safety regulations.
Enthusiasm, dedication, and a real passion for cooking.
