An opportunity has arisen for an automation / controls engineer to join one of the UK’s leading manufacturing firms! As an automation / controls engineer you will be working on the latest, state of the art technology in a mission to maintain the company’s status as one of the leading manufacturing firms in the UK!

The Role

As an automation / controls engineer, you will be involved in:

Making modifications and interrogating PLC code and using SCADA systems
Range of different project work including machinery upgrades and installations
Using SAP
Looking after contractors, risk assessments, permits, continuous improvement work and manging CAPEX
Requirements

To be a successful automation / controls engineer, our client requires:

Desirable HNC qualification or above
Experience in PLCs, Controls and SCADA systems
Great team player
