Silicon Microgravity Ltd is looking to hire a Technical Assistant to work on development and production of MEMS devices. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your hands-on skillset, applying knowledge and experience gained from a science degree or laboratory experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Characterisation of MEMS dies on probe station.

* Controlled packaging of silicon dies.

* Wirebonding

* Process development of vacuum packaging of MEMS.

* Clear documentation and stock keeping of accelerometers including ordering parts.

* Help with setup of experiments.

* Cooperate with R&D on new sensing technology development.

Experience required

* Science or Engineering graduate or equivalent work experience of more than 2 years in laboratory environment/cleanroom.

* Python/programming experience is advantageous.

* Experience with electronics and PCB soldering would be advantageous

Other requirements

* Good interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to function as part of a team.

* Attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

* An excellent working knowledge of English.

* Ability to travel to device production facilities and customer site visits.
