A market leading specialist mechanical manufacturing organisation based in Portsmouth are currently recruiting for a Sheetmetal/Workshop Technician to join their growing organisation on a permanent basis.

Day’s role 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday, Friday 07:30 – 12noon

Working as part of their workshop team you will be responsible for Sheet metal (Including cutting using CNC Bandsaw / Guillotines). Press work and the use of other workshop machinery including circular saws etc. In addition to this, light loading / unloading of finished products and raw materials may be required and full training provided.

To be considered for this position, candidates will have a proven background where you have operated workshop machinery such as Bandsaws, guillotines, circular saws or similar equipment. In addition, hold / held a forklift licence (counterbalance preferred) would be highly advantageous
