Job title: Transport Supervisor

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am – 17:30pm

Location: Halesowen

Salary: £25k-£28k

Contract: Temp to Perm

Job Description:

We are seeking a Transport Supervisor to join our team that has doubled in size over the past 12 months and to oversee the Transport team and deliver excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Acting as escalation point for general Transport matters.

* Overseeing daily transportation operations, including scheduling and routing.

* Maintaining vehicles in optimal condition and managing repair/defect schedules

* Monitoring transportation costs and optimizing budgets.

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Capability to work under pressure and adapt to changing scenarios.

* Overseeing the fleet and ensure all legal, H&S and operational challenges are met.

* Training new members of staff.

* Implementing new processed to improve efficiency and customer service.

* Ensure compliance with company procedures at all times.

* Collaborate with the Sales team to grow the department.

Knowledge and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in operations either Air \ Sea \ European. You will need to be CPC qualified and prior health and safety training
