SEN Teaching Assistant - Burnley:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced, Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team in a lovely school near Burnley. You must have previous experience supporting children with SEN and hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.

The Role:

Working 1-1 and in small groups supporting children with SEN
Communicating with staff, parents and SENCO to monitor pupils' progress
Building rapport with the pupils
Preparing learning resources and activitiesPosition Details:

Location: Burnley
Position: SEN TA
Hours: 8:30am-3:15pm
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting
Level 2 Teaching Assistant QualificationTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOTHER
