Warehouse Operative

Monday to Friday 1pm – 5pm

£13.22/hour

Clarkson Evans is the largest electrical and solar installer working in the new build housing sector, wiring over 24,000 homes a year. Established over 40 years ago, we now employ more than 850 staff across the UK and we work with the country’s major house builders.

If you’re reliable and hardworking, you could be just the person we're looking for to play a key role in supporting our Solar Installers.

We are looking for someone with a flexible approach but typically, you will work 1pm – 5pm Monday to Friday. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Using the forklift to organise solar panels on pallets ready for issue to our installers (forklift training can be provided if required)

Picking associated materials required as part of the installation

Handling receipt of deliveries to the branch

Updating records of materials in stock

Additional duties may include:

Holiday cover for the morning Warehouse Operative

Cleaning the branch

Collecting meter readings

Monthly branch inspections to support our Facilities Team

Requirements

Ability to work using own initiative

Self-motivated with a flexible approach to working

Reliable and able to work independently

Organised

Good numeracy skills

Excellent accuracy, even when under pressure

A full UK manual driving licence

Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
