Food Technician – Reading/Wokingham – 6 months - £13.30-£17.84 PH

Do you have a passion or interest in food science, we have an opportunity for candidates to join a large Blue chip Food organization to support a Science Group and analytical team. These positions will be a flexible technician role working across different departments including analytical, food product development and food manufacturing.

Duties are working in all departments to prepare samples, weigh ingredients, housekeeping, create new products, wet chemistry moisture analysis, prepare and grind coco beans, fill moulds and flow wrappers. Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies,

Candidates will have a passion and interest in food, cookery, A level in a scientific discipline would be a distinct advantage, Follow product formulations and methods considering standard operating procedures and food safety to produce food products at bench scale or manufacturing, this is an early careers position so full training will be given.
