Job Title: Evening Cleaner

Location: Gwendolen Avenue

Salary: £12.80/ hour

Hours: 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Job Type: Part Time - Start date: Thursday April 10th

Duties and Responsibilities:

Use your initiative to complete the tasks below to a high standard and seek direction where required.

Classrooms, children's bathrooms and communal areas

Remove finger marks from all doors and windows
Sweep, hoover rooms, dust, mop all areas
Hover and clean all staircases
Clean and sanitise toilets and sinks
Wipe down door handles
Polish mirrors
Empty bins
Wipe shelvingStaff/children's toilets

Wash floor
Clean toilet
Clean sink area
Empty binOffices

Empty bins - nightly
Wipe down surfacesStaff room and Kitchenette

Hoover floor
Disinfect and wipe sides
Clean the sink
Empty bins
Ensure all utensils, mugs, plates and bowls are washed up and put awaySecurity

Ensure all windows / doors / gates and main doors are closed and locked at the end of the evening.The above is a guideline to the day-to-day duties of an Evening Cleaner and it is not an exhaustive list and may be reviewed.

About you:

Ensure that you understand the standards and philosophy of the nursery and project them at all times to parents and other staff members.

Ensure that your own personal hygiene is to be kept to a high standard at all times and you are using the appropriate gloves, protective clothing whilst working.
