HGV Class 1 Day Driver – Telford

We are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to join our client’s team at their Telford site. Whether you're newly passed or an experienced driver, we offer training and development opportunities to help you enhance your skills and progress in your career.

Salary: £15 per hour

About the Role:

As an HGV Class 1 Day Driver, your responsibilities will include:

* Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe

* Arriving at your job on time and communicating any delays to the traffic office

* Following company, customer, and Highway Code procedures

* Maintaining health and safety standards

* Completing all deliveries and collections as per the manifest

* Complying with EU tachograph and WTD regulations

* Keeping your vehicle clean and tidy

Requirements:

* Full LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence

* Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC

* Valid Digital Tachograph Card

* Good communication skills
