The Opportunity
We are looking for an organised, value-driven and ambitious graduate to join our small and friendly team. This is a varied graduate programme where you will gain valuable experience in all parts of our business including administration, business planning, sales, PA duties for our Managing Director, financial admin and marketing. This is, therefore, a really unique opportunity to expand your skillset, your practical experience and learn first-hand about everything required to successfully run a business.
With the launch of two new arms of our business coming in 2025, now is an exciting time to join Thompson & Terry Recruitment and this position would be well suited to candidates eager to contribute to the company’s growth (geared towards May 2035 where the team will own the business) while developing their own career and ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day recruitment function.
* Recruitment– Supporting the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing CVs, coordinating calls and interviews, supporting with minute taking during interviews, and other general candidate management/coordination.
* Administration – Responsible for writing job descriptions, advertising jobs, writing interview confirmations and general office administration
* Finance Administration – Supporting with financial tasks such as basic bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and invoicing using Xero.
* PA Duties – Working closely alongside the team and in particular supporting our MD in a ‘PA’ capacity, diary and inbox management.
* Marketing - Supporting the management of numerous social media channels, assisting with the creation of content, and maintaining a strong company brand.
* Candidate Engagement – Building strong relationships with candidates to ensure an exceptional recruitment experience.

* Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience)

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
* A hands-on approach to recruitment with a desire to work within a small team
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
