Our client is initially seeking a flexible , multi-tasking , Site Maintenance Assistant on temporary basis.

its Mid March start ( temporary cover for a six week period ) role based in Central Bishops Stortford

Candidates would need to have a Enhanced DBS ( or be prepared for the process )

The Main Responsibilities would include :

On site School Caretaker type responsibilities General Handy-person duties, including moving goods and furniture, painting, minor repairs to property, fixtures, Assist with grounds maintenance landscaping ie weeding ,watering is dealt with in a timely and safe manner.General good house keeping , tidying ,clearing litter , sweeping etc. Be responsible for the security of the premises and its contents, including the operation of fire alarms. You may undertake locking buildings, checking and securing windows and internal doors.Also clearing daily compacting daily waste litter bins etc .Communicating regularly with team on-site colleagues on the progress of work tasks .

Also be available for an on-site issues from light bulbs to firm alarm monitoring , toilet blockage , bins emptied
Carry out the day-to-day maintenance of the site, ensuring the security and quality of the site at all times
