M4 Recruitment seeks skilled Class 1 Trunking Drivers for our client in Colnbrook. This role is crucial for our client's logistics, ensuring timely transport of goods between depots and distribution centres.
Responsibilities:
* Transport Operations: Execute assigned trunking routes, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
* Vehicle Management: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues.
* Safety Compliance: Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
* Documentation: Accurately manage paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks.
* Communication: Regularly update the logistics team on delivery progress and issues.
* Customer Service: Provide excellent service to clients and represent the company professionally.
Requirements:
* Valid UK Class 1 Driving License.
* 2+ years of Class 1 driving experience.
* No more than 6 endorsement points on your license.
* Clean DBS check.
* Level D / Cargo Operative training (can be completed online).
* 5-year work history for background verification.
