We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Multi-Axis Miller Programmer to join our experienced team and contribute to our New Product Introduction (NPI) capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about precision engineering and working on complex components.
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Programmer:
As a CNC Multi-Axis Miller Programmer, you will:
Set, operate, and program CNC milling machines, including 3, 4, and 5-axis machinery.
Programme using software such as HyperMill.
Operate Mazak 5-axis milling machinery (experience with Mazatrol preferred).
Work on precision components, adhering to strict production deadlines and tolerances.
Read and interpret detailed manufacturing drawings.
Use manual measuring equipment and, ideally, perform CMM inspections.
Contribute to Lean Manufacturing processes and improvements.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
An engineering qualification (City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent).
Expertise in speeds, feeds, tooling, and safety for various raw materials.
Programming experience, ideally with FANUC or Mazatrol control languages.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
A proactive attitude and an eye for detail, particularly with complex, difficult-to-manufacture materials.
