Shift pattern - Monday -Friday 8.30 - 5pm

Salary: Up to £36,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an Ocean Freight Export Operator to join a well-established freight forwarder renowned for their expertise in air, road, sea, and warehousing services. As the Ocean Freight Export Operator, you'll play a crucial role in our team, ensuring that every shipment is handled seamlessly. You'll oversee the end-to-end process of ocean import logistics, from tracking shipments and managing documentation to coordinating with customs and resolving any issues that arise. Oversee & Independently handle shipments in the role of Ocean freight Exports in accordance with quality standards, including documentation, booking, shipment control, transport insurance, accounting, and customs handling
Provide customer support in conjunction with the Sales Department, including occasional client visits when required
Handle complaints in line with BIFA Terms and Conditions, including correct KPI recording
Communicate with our UK, Overseas offices, and agents
Focus on ensuring the most cost-effective service solutions are being utilized without risk to service levelsRequirements

A minimum of 2 years' experience working within Freight forwarding(UK based)
Previous experience in Ocean freight
Handling shipments start to finish
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
