I am working with my client to find a capable and experienced Office Manager to run the office on a day-to-day basis, and to provide support to the senior management team.
This Office Manager role can be full time, or shorter hours to suit, but will be over 5 days. The position is based 100% in the modern offices in Hertford, a short walk from the town centre, with free parking.
The Office Manager will provide support to the SMT, keeping things running so that the Directors can work on the business and make the best use of their time.
On a day to basis you will:
* Provide administrative support to the SMT
* Take notes and produce minutes in meetings
* Assisting in producing reports and proposals as required
* To manage contractors such as IT and cleaners
* HR duties, such as record keeping and being a point of contact for the wider team
* To manage the apprentices and the apprenticeship scheme
* Greeting visitors and making drinks
* Keeping office supplies in stock
* Replenishing kitchen supplies
* Ensuring the meeting rooms and communal areas are kept clean and tidy, emptying dishwasher, putting out water for meetings etc.
We are looking for someone:
* With experience in a similar role
* Who is happy to help with staff issues
* Unflappable, and who can keep a smile in busy times
* Approachable and easy to work with
* With a strong character
* Happy to make their own decisions and work autonomously
* Confident in their ability to take ownership
