Interim Accountant

Nottingham city centre

c£300 per day (Outside IR35)

A leading company and household name is seeking some additional assistance to help them get over year end and manage their external audit.

As an Accountant, you will:

* Supporting the Finance Director to deliver accurate and timely financial information to the business

* Providing leadership and development of the Financial Accounting team, while instilling those same values across the wider Finance Team

* Leading the month end close process, in accordance with agreed timetables

* Production of statutory accounts

* Managing the year-end audit process, consulting with auditors as required while ensuring all deliverables are produced accurately and in a timely manner

* Meeting the relevant reporting requirements in an accurate and timely manner, both at a Group level and as required by the Finance Director and wider business

* Taking ownership of the company balance sheet, ensuring regular reconciliation of key accounts, and taking corrective action where necessary

* Prepare and produce management accounts for all group companies posting month end journals including fixed assets, depreciation, GRNI, accruals and prepayments

* Provide month end analysis on key profit and loss accounts

* Prepare financial accounts and reporting; ensuring all balance sheet items are fully reconciled and correctly recorded

You will be an experienced Accountant with a proven track record of producing accounts and experience under FRS 102, consolidations, and recognition revenue
