Property Manager - AST portfolio - 25 days holiday, superb pension contribution and many other benefits ... AST residential property management experience required by prestigious West End property owner. This position is working for the freeholder who manages their portfolio inhouse. Properties are largely in period style blocks including some grade ll listed. It is essential that you have been involved with running your own portfolio including dealing with tenant queries, inspections, repairs and maintenance issues and have good AST legislation knowledge. Recent experience of managing an AST portfolio for a busy professional estate agency is particularly welcome.
The role:
* All aspects of the day-to-day management of a portfolio of AST residential properties all in the West End
* Dealing with tenant enquiries, carrying out inspections re repairs and maintenance issues and making recommendations to resolve issues
* Resolving repair issues working with facilities and surveying departments
* Resolving escalated rent arrears including liaising with solicitors
* Contributing to portfolio reports, management meetings etc
* Assisting with admin including rent reviews, insurance clams
* Reviewing leases to determine repair obligations
* Tenancy administration
About you:
* Good AST management experience ideally including exposure to properties in listed buildings
* Experience of managing repairs, arrears, disputes or breaches of terms, tenancy deposits
* Good understanding of legislation re AST’s including Housing Act, occupier protection and repossession
* Excellent customer service approach
* Experience of working with solicitors to resolve issues
* Ability to multi-task, pro-active, good time management
